John Swasey

John Swasey is an American voice actor, ADR Director, and script writer known for his work at Funimation, ADV Films and Sentai Filmworks.

John has provided voices for many anime series and video games. His most notable roles include Gendo Ikari in the Rebuild of Evangelion films, Sir Crocodile in One Piece, Lord Death in Soul Eater, All for One in My Hero Academia, Zara in Black Clover, and Van Hohenheim in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. His voice can also be heard in titles such as Attack On Titan, Dragon Ball, Fairy Tail, Black Butler, Ouran High School Host Club, Initial D, and many others.
In 2004, Swasey jumped to the other side of the mic to direct. Some of the shows he has recently directed include Ushio and Tora, Squid Girl, Flip Flappers, Revue Starlight, and Doreiku.

In addition to anime, John has acted in hundreds of radio and TV commercials and several films including the cult favorite Dazed and Confused.
